Ehsaas Rashan Riayat Program was launched in 2019 by former Prime Minister Imran Khan with the aim to make improvements in the living standards of the needy and unprivileged segments of our society. There are several initiatives under the broader umbrella of the Ehsaas program and the Ehsaas Rashan program is one of those initiatives. It was announced by the Government of Pakistan on 1st October 2021 under the leadership of Former PM Imran Khan.

Eligibility of Ehsaas Rashan Riayat

Applicants must fall in the following criteria to be eligible for the Ehsaas Rashan Riayat.

Residency: Applicants who are applying for the Ehsaas Rashan program are supposed to provide an ID card and other documents to prove that he is a resident of Pakistan.

Income: To become eligible for this program the applicant’s monthly income should be less than 15000 per month. For this purpose, the applicants should provide the relevant documents which give proof of their income. The reason for this criterion is that the government wants to help out people to meet their expenses who have low income.

Family size: Applicants applying for Ehsaas ration program must have a family size of less than six individuals. If the applicants are eligible for this program they must provide the government with their family registration form as proof.

Under the Ehsaas Rashan Riayat new update needy and poor people of Pakistan will get a 40% off on groceries like rice, oil, sugar, etc. The former Prime Minister Imran Khan instructed former Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to implement a subsidy program amounting to Rs.100 billion for essential food items, targeting 8 million underprivileged families including flood victims.

The Government of Pakistan has updated the Ehsaas Rashan Program and introduced the Free Atta program under it. • Families already registered with Ehsaas Rashan Riayat via NADRA or Ehsaas Survey need to enroll for the program using the new SMS code “8123“.

Those who are not eligible can register themselves to potentially become eligible.
